After a brief moment in May when one post got all kinds of attention, my blog seems to have returned to what it always was – a poorly read outlet for my sporadic ramblings about economic policy matters. I plan to post more frequently and on a broader range of topics (still staying within the economic/public policy sphere) in 2012 but I know that will be hard.
These were my most viewed posts this year:
- What is the typical Australian’s income?
- Inequality and the top 1% in Australia
- The state of the labour market
- Why care about inequality?
Thank you for reading!
Greetings to you Matthew,
Thanks for your input for 2011. I have thoroughly enjoyed your posts! Keep-em-commin!

Thanks Sonya
Although at times I disagree with your posts, they are always informed and reasoned and quality-wise heads and shoulders above what one often finds around the blogosphere.
Keep it up.
Cheers!
Your posts are always very thoughtful and well written. I have been sharing them a little bit, but commit to an effort to share them more. Your work deserves to be read. By the way, have you seen Michael Roberts’ blog today on the WB Report? Can you do a post on the Australian perspective?
